Not sure what to say?

Our hearts are full of sorrow upon learning of the passing of our dear friend. Our prayers to you Pat and your family. May God lift the saddness from your hearts day by day. Rich will always be in our prayers and our hearts.

Steve and Lenore Morris Kinston,NC

I was so looking forward to meeting Richard for the first time, during his and Pat's planned visit with Betsy this Fall. Alas, that was not to transpire. I am so saddened by the turn-of-events and feel deep sympathy for the Quinlan "Clan".
Keep him alive in your hearts.
Find Joy, through the many fond memories.
Honor him through your daily deeds.
God Bless and Keep You.

Richard was a year behind me at St Rita grammar school, Carol was in my class.

Think John Carney (Midlothian?) and Jack Tyler (Coronado Island) were in Rich's class.

Peace.

Pat- I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. You and your family are in my prayers.
Sincerely, Ann Vacula

With a heavy heart, I have lost a lifelong friend. We have been buddies since early childhood sharing many school, sports, parties and neighborhood growing up experiences. I will always remember our good times on Maplewood Street (with very few cars) with Don and the rest of the gang. As youngsters we did it all from being angels to sometimes troublemakers.

Rich's wonderful sense of humor always put a smile on everyone's face.

I will miss you greatly, dear friend.

I never had the privilege of meeting Rich, but I feel like I know him through his youngest daughter, Jen. We are sending condolences and love to your family during this difficult time.

“Everything has a place, every place has a thing.” I still remember that saying and it's been over 25 years since Dick shared his philosophy with me. I modified that saying when I was coaching my daughters Pee Wee and Midget softball teams to help them learn to play defensive positions; “Everybody has a place to go and a thing to do when they get there.”

I was just a young 24 when I started at Englewood in 1983. Luckily for me Dick had daughters my age. My dad had passed away...

Mr. Quinlan will be missed. May the God of comfort help you.

So sorry to hear about Rich's death. I remember him well from our Maplewood times. My best to all of you for your loss.
