It was an honor to work for Dr Raines and his patients. A true gentleman from the golden years of SJMC.

I am so sad to hear about Dr Raines passing. I worked with him as a nurse in Cath Lab and ICU at St John. He was always a gentleman and so fun. I loved his slow walk and gentleness. My prayers will be for comfort and peace at your loss of such a special man.

What an honor to have the opportunity to work for Dr. Raines early in my nursing career. He was a great cardiologist, teacher, and friend. He always had a good story to share and loved his family. My thoughts are with you...Kathy Steele Tisdale
