My sincere condolences we will all miss him terribly, I know I already do since I've not seen him for awhile I loved taking care of Dick & Marianne @ the Fish house over the the past 10 yrs. & before that at the MAC club. I've had the honor of knowing this family for the past 25 yrs & enjoyed so many events with them... May you rest in peace

Dear Marianne, Richard, Terry, John and Martin:
It is with deepest sympathy that I write to you on the passing of Dick.
As I grew up in California and then Portland I came to know Marianne and Dick as long time friends of my parents Sally and Earl Walter.

The loss of a parent and life-time mate is a bittersweet milestone in our lives.

My condolence and sincere sympathy to the Ralston family. I bid farewell to my neighbor and friend of more than twenty years. I will miss his Christmas decorations and tennis playing. Dick was always a sharp wit with a big smile and wonderful sense of humor. My heart goes out to Marianne and to all his sons and daughter for their loss. With deepest sympathies from Neighbors John, Penny, Greg, Katherine, Liam, and Nora Flenniken

To the entire Ralston family my thoughts and prayers are with you.....Much love..Miles J. Miller

Dick was a cheerful, kind, positive, helpful and friendly neighbor. His sunny smile and cute sense of humor brightened our conversations. He'd keep a watchful eye on our house when we were away, and hide the paper if it was accidentally delivered. Our sincere condolences to all who mourn his death. We'll miss him too.
