Not sure what to say?

I still miss you, Rick. We would be having some very spirited discussions in this parallel world of today!

Who will question them now?

Rick and I played golf together at San Geronimo for the one year I lived in Marin. I hooked up with him the first time I played there and we played pretty much every week until I moved back to New Mexico. He was a fine, kind and gentle man with deeply held and passionate convictions. I loved our conversations and time together on the links. I am saddened to learn that he is no longer with us.

I first knew Rick in 1979 and 80. We worked then for Marin Citizens for Energy Planning. He was a sharp, funny friend and we enjoyed our community work. In 1983 Rick successfully handled my international( Canada)custody and visitation problem with my son. He made things right. That was his role - to make things right. Thank you Rick.

I remember Richard as a very bright being , thoughtful and very helpful while a lawyer. I got to see him in action as a lawyer and it was always a pleasure talking to him about politics and life. He was a very good man and will be missed.

I am very sorry to hear about Richard's passing. Richard and I disagreed about many political issues and we always enjoyed our disagreement and engaged in the most amiable exchanges. I will really miss you Richard. Your passing is a loss to us all.

Richard was an amazing human being. Brilliant, passionate, and uniquely kind. He was thoughtful and thought provoking. Often disappointed in Humanity, but still, always hopeful and optimistic about the future. He was the smartest man I ever knew. Such a beautiful spirit. He was one of a kind. His laser beam, astute, clever, funny blog entries will be sorely missed. He adored his family, his daughter and grandsons. RIP dear Richard, you touched so many lives. It was an honor to have known you. ...
