Not sure what to say?

Mr. Redlin gave me my very first job right out of college. I was so nervous those first couple of weeks, that I went from 92 pounds to 82 pounds. He checked on me every day. I think he thought I was going to drop. I always had a habit of being habitually late. He knew that I would try to sneak in through the boiler room at Lynch Park. He'd be sitting there with pipe in hand, waiting patiently for me. I followed him to Lynch View when he transferred there. I learned to have a great respect for...

My condolences to Mr Redlin's family and friends. I was very fortunate to attend Lynch Park when Mr. Redlin was the principal. I remember him as a very warm, fair, and thoughtful man that I admired and respected. Lynch Park was a fine grade school with a dedicated and caring staff headed by Mr. Redlin. I am grateful to them all for their devotion to their students.
Sincerely,
Patrick Wright

My warmest condolences to Connie and the family. It was my privilige to teach under Dick at Lynch View for many years. He was a man of integrity and had an incredible work ethic for not only himself, but for his staff. He leaves many friends who have fond memories from having known Dick & his lovely wife. God bless.

I am amazed when I think of all the lives Dick touched -- family, students, friends, community. He did his duty to God and Country and always kept that smile on his handsome face.

He and Connie were so gracious to welcome "new" Redlins to Portland, and we'll never forget your generosity and kindness. We'll toast him at the Rheinlander!
