Richard lost his long fought struggles to his illnesses on Monday, July 6, 2015 at the age of 48. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, JoAnn Reese.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his kindness to his father, Leon Reese, Sr. of Gary, Indiana; three brothers, Leon (Illiana) Reese of Portage, Indiana; Phillip (Tchernavina) Reese of Atlanta, Georgia and Erick (Porsha) Reese of Gary, Indiana; his sister, Donna Reese of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister/aunt, Gwendolyn (Edward) Stovall of Gary, Indiana; two nephews, Brandon Gary and Christopher Reese; one niece, Kayla Reese; his girlfriend of 9 years, Melissa, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other cherished friends. ~

Richard was truly a wonderful person. My condolences goes out to the entire family. He will be missed by many.
