We met as freshmen at Madison in band. He played drums way up in the back corner of the room and I was a trumpet player. Always a kind guy during those years. Thank you Rich for being in my life a short time. Condolences to Ellyn, his Sisters and families. Cheryl

Sorry, to hear about Richard's death I was blessed to work with Richard at Tektronix in Beaverton, Oregon he was a wonderful boss/friend. He will be missed Praying for the family!

I will always remember Rich from Portland. Ellyn and Rich took my husband, Seth, and I to Portland City Grill for our first time. We shared drinks, stories, and laughs. Ellyn and Rich were a little older than Seth and I but we loved them and they loved us. It was a one of a kind relationship. They were the best neighbors.

Just heard of Rich's passing. I'm so sorry to hear this. I have so many memories of all the things we did when we were young. Walt so appreciated Rich coming to see him when he was ill. I'd like to think that they are together again in Heaven.

Always love being with the two of you. Lots of joyful memories. You will be missed my wonderful brother-in-law! Rest in Peace Rich.
