Rarley in life do you come across such a special and innocent sole.... Montgomery now appears empty! Everyday, the one thing myself and my children truely enjoyed was seeing Richie and talking to him about the daily happenings. Everyone has truely lost a great friend and member of our own extended family. Best regards!

I have known Richie all my life and looked forward to his greetings when I was in Montgomery. How he made you feel special with his sweet greetings.Never forgot who I was and treated me like I saw him just yesterday. I will miss him.
There is no doubt he was greeted by God with open arms.
My sympathy for your loss, as it is everyone's loss.

Richie was my cousin, and therefore a fairly regular guest at my front door. We would often sit on our front porch in the evening (as many people used to do) and we were generally sure of a visit from Richie with the news of the day. It was better than having a local newspaper! This surely is the end of an era, and we will all miss our icon of friendliness. But there is no doubt in my mind that Richie will be there to greet any of us lucky enough to make it to heaven!
