In times of sorrow, in times of joy, Dick has been rock solid for our family for the past 50 years. A great comfort for my grandparents, my parents and my own family--funerals, weddings, and baptisms.
He and Nancy and myself were sitting at their kitchen table last September, and when I asked how he was feeling, he said.."Timothy, I feel fine, but this old house I'm living in is starting to fall apart."

My deepest condolences in the loss of Dick. He will forever be remembered by my family as a fine and gentle and loving man. He allowed my faith and my families faith to grow and flourish through his dynamic preaching But also as a pastor. One of my finest memories is sitting with my parents at their home and Dick leading us in communion around their dining room table. May God bless you all as you grieve. Nancy and the rest of Dick's family, you are in my thoughts and prayers in this time of grief. Dick was a dear friend and beloved by my parents and me.
