Richard Rider

I have many memories of my younger days and the time that I spent with Mr. Rider. I picked up his newspapers when he was on vacation, he used to pay me for this service with a shiny new 50 cent piece. I was the happiest kid in all of Monroeville. He also taught me how to clean fish and chew Red Man, two of the things that take me back to the good old days whenever I do them today. I have great memories of growing up with the Riders,as neighbors,in Monroeville. Dick was a kind and friendly man who always took time to speak. I miss the "sweet old days" on North Street.
