We always looked forward to a gathering with Dick and Ginny. Dick's recollection of fishing adventures, coal mining episodes, as well as stories from growing up and retiring to NE PA confirmed his ability to enjoy life!

Our thoughts are with Ginny and the family. We will miss seeing Dick row down the lake in his "hemlock Barque". He was a good neighbor.

His enthusiasms were infectious as was his good humor.

We have so many fond memories of Dick. My husband and I knew him in his retirement, in the beautiful Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania. We loved his stories about the Wilkes Barre area, where he spent his youth. His enthusiasm for the natural beauty and history of the area was inspiring. But he also brought sophistication to experiences with wine and food, opera and politics, that we found very sympatico. Mostly, we remember his infectious good humor and his flamboyant style, a successful...
