Not sure what to say?

We had no idea that Richard had passed away until August 31st when a tiny segment was on the Channel 7 News (?!). We were deeply saddened by this news. My husband's childhood friend David is brother to Kathy Roat, Richard's wife of 40 years. Times together for the past 37 years have been full of love and laughter. He will be sorely missed.

In the early `80s, my mother enjoyed working for Richard, and my then-fiancé and I, both of us actors, were delighted to be his clients. My deep sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

I'm good u I'm writing to u to give my condolences to you and your family etc rip. I loved his tv shows etc . He seemed like a nice person. I will miss him so. No rush take bye

Dear Kathy, We lost a terrific and genial man. My condolences to you and your family. Mary Gaik

Dear Kathy. Please accept our condolences on behalf of our beloved cousin Don. I just turned 65 and he was always larger than life to me. I will remember kindness that he always extended his first cousin, my mother Peggy, and my dad. We are sure that we will see him again so let's live life to the fullest so that we can compare notes with him after . Russell & Jeanne Tompkins Buena Vista, VA

Dear Roat Family, Richard was a friend and classmate of my husband's at Hall High School in West Hartford, CT. We double dated at my senior reception and I had the pleasure of performing with him at our Annual Gaiety talent show. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Shirley Kosiorek Rossano

So sorry to hear, Richard always made the pain of doing taxes almost disappear with his friendly smile.
