Not sure what to say?

A wonderful man and a friend of my father's.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Dick's passing. Dick and my father were friends for more 25+ years until me fathers passing. My sympathy to his wife and 4 sons.

Dear Mr. Robinson,

Today I walked up Olomana Mountain, overlooking a facility where I continue to work with troubled youth. I wept.

I regret not making it back to El Paso in time to be there for you. You were always there for me as a mentor, friend and volunteer. Thank you for your hard work in helping the less fortunate, troubled children and the underpriviledged. Your service to mankind will never be forgotten and will remain in our memories forever.

Our deepest...

So sorry to hear about your Dad z"l. I remember him from El Paso - and from other occassions later in life. I am sure he had a significant part in making the lot of you into the hard-core defenders of our people and our land that you are.

We need him to make a strong case for us upstairs. I am sure he knows it and will continue carrying our cause to whomever will listen.

I'm sorry I did not have the chance to get to know him better - so I hope to have a chance to hear more...

To the family of "Dickyboy" - I am so saddened by your loss. Dick, a fellow Jester, and I maintained a correspondence for several years without ever meeting in person. We shared experiences of back surgery, hip replacement, knee replacement, and most recently prostate cancer.

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the...

I am so very sorry to hear about Richard's passing. He shared emails on a regular basis with my Dad, Sol Lederman. After my Dad passed away in October of 2006, he began sharing emails with me. I contacted everyone in my Dad's email address book, as you have done, and Richard continued to keep in touch. We sent emails to one another often. Even though I didn't know him personally, my Dad spoke highly of him. As I'm sure you can agree, it was so amazing to have people of their generation so...

Mr. Robinson,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for Canada and the Free World when you served in the RCAF during WW II and secondly for your years of charitable work with the Shriners as as well as your service with El Paso Halfway Houses . And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I have known Dick Robinson nearly 20 years and his passing is a GREAT loss not only to myself but those who knew and loved him. He was my friend and confidant in all matters pertaining to life. He gave me such insights into his Jewish heritage without qualms or any disrepect for my beliefs. I shared the passions he felt for his family and friends and he was always honest in his opinions and feelings. He brought so much joy to me and his courage inspired me. Many times his pain was...
