I was one of Richard's classmates from Salina Central High School and was shocked when I heard the news of his passing from my wife Mary Ann. I remember how talented he was musically and that talent will be greatly missed. Know that you're in my thoughts & prayers during this difficult time & do plan to attend the memorial service in Salina.

I have to say hearing about this is very very sad! Richard was a close friend growing up at Heusner Elementary in Salina, Kansas. I pray that he is with God in heaven and that some day we will meet again. He was a good guy and my sympathy to Ann and Joe and the entire family! I am so sorry to hear this and deeply saddened. We shared many fun memories as kids playing together and hanging out! Rest in Peace good buddy!

Wayne, Ann and Joe,
You are in our thoughts and prayers right now. We got to see Richard last year when he stayed with Garett and Joe for that week of spring break. How fun for all of them to be together in Manhattan. Joe and Richard were having some fun chinese or mexican food that night we stopped in, I can't remember which one, I know Joe would. You will always have your wonderful memories nothing can ever take those away. May God give you extraordinary grace at this time.
