Not sure what to say?

Miss you today Dad!

Seven years have not dimmed the memory of Dick Rondeau's enduring smile and his love of life. He is still very much missed by all those who knew him or visited the Dairy Bar.

I just mentioned you to your son the other day and said how much I miss you and our talks. We will always be missed at Rondeau's.....you always gave me a hard time when I walked up to the window. Rest in peace buddy

It was always a pleasure to stop by to visit with Dick Rondeau when I visited nearby Camp Ramah. Dick was a master story-teller and loved to recount his encounters with everyone where he did business, either at the Dairy Bar, or large gatherings at fairs and holiday events. He enjoyed making other people happy and that seemed to make him happy. I still miss him.

During this Pandemic, it brought some joy to see Dick's infectious smile, and to remember our summer afternoons together when i worked at nearby Camp Ramah. Dick loved to talk about is experiences in business and with people he knew over the years, and his stories always brought laughter. During this difficult and uncertain time, we miss Dick even more because we need his stories, his laughter, and his smile.

I knew Dick for many years when I worked at neighboring Camp Ramah and looked forward to visiting the camp every year and to having fun conversations with him. He was a great storyteller and we laughed together countless times. We even shared experiences with our common illnesses and somehow they seemed less serious.

Dick gave me a generous supply of ballpoint pens emblazoned with Rondeau's Dairy Bar, and I will use them to recall our enjoyable conversations together. I will miss...
