Mr. Rook and his wife always sat in the pew right behind us at St. Pauls. They were so kind to our two daughters, making a point to ask them about school and telling them about their sweet dog. We missed seeing his wife when she passed and will also very much miss him at church.

I met Mr. Rook back when his wife passed. Over the years I had helped him with different concerns and requests at the cemetery. I had the pleasure of meeting and becoming friends with Dick at Mercy Fitness Center the latter part of 2019. He was a gentleman who enjoyed socializing with his many friends at the Center. He always spoke lovingly of his wife and his two sons and his grandchildren. Rest In Peace, Dick.

Oh Mr. Rook. I knew you had been taken to the hospital but I had no idea why and I had no way of getting ahold of anyone.
You were my wonderful neighbor and you will be truly missed. I will miss you stopping by to talk to me.
