Richard Wagstaff Ross

Dick Ross was my Dad's, John, younger brother. He was a sweet and caring uncle. I loved our visits and wish there had been more in the recent years. He was a fine person and I will always have a special place in my heart for my Uncle Dick.

Unfortunately we did not know Dick as a young man, but reading of his accomplishments, we know why Dora choose him as her husband. A few years ago our granddaughter, Jessica was writiing a paper on World War II and asked Dick for an interview. She went to the Ross' and he gave her a good deal of time. She came home very impressed with his experiences and knowledge.

He was a stubborn person and very much set in his ways, but you could not help but love him. A fun loving person if I ever met one. Always interested in what you were doing and very caring. I always enjoyed the times I spent with him. Overall, a good father-in-law.
