As a child going to the movies with my parents to see the first Shaft movie

I wanted to share my condolences late to Mr Richard Roundtree. I was an 11 year old boy when Shaft came out. My father was stationed in Spain for the Air Force. The preview of Shaft said " if you want to see it, you better ask yo momma". I did get to see it, and was influenced seeing a super hero of a black man, doing the right thing against evil. Thank you for being a mentor with that role and otherS. RIP

Big fan of Shaft and Mr Roundtree and just seen "Shaft In Africa" for the first time tonight. My condolences to his family for their loss and he'll always be remembered.
