Sorry for your loss. My late husband and I met Dick and his wife on a cruise to Bermuda many years ago and I never forgot him.

Dick was such a kind and noble person. I had the pleasure of working with him at the Connecticut General Assembly. His voice on environmental issues was poignant. I'm sad to know that he's no longer here on earth, but I know his spirit and work are still here - pushing the needle forward. God bless.

I used to work as a legislative aide at the Capitol and got to know Dick through his legislative work. For some of that time, I had a desk in the Environment Committee while he was a Co-Chair. He certainly was ahead of the curve on a number of issues including plastic bags, GMOs, and especially distracted driving. So sorry that Dick has passed away. I remember him going back to the old day's at the Courier on Orange St New Haven I was getting out of my apprenticeship as a printer...Dick was liked by everyone and had a very active life...He surely be missed by family and friends...He's in God Hands and at Peace!
