Rich was my Geometry teacher in high school in the 73-72 school year. He was a great guy and I really enjoyed his class in spite of not really being a math person! I was so sad to hear of his passing, which I just learned about on the "Growing Up In Rolling Meadows" FB site.

Many thanks to the family for sharing Mr. Rozycki with others. I would not be a physician today if he had not shared himself and encouraged me back in 1972.

To the family of Mr. Rozycki....My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I had Mr. Rozycki for math my freshman year at Rolling Meadows High School some 30+ years ago. He was one of those teachers you don't forget!! On Facebook there is a page called "Growing Up in Rolling Meadows" and there are many testaments as to the great teacher and person Mr. Rozycki was. He will be missed.

Mr. Rozycki will be missed. He really inspired me in computers, I remember him coming into the small closet of a computer room at rmhs back in the late 70s... We had 2 teletype 33s a CRT and a high speed 300 baud printing terminal. He'd need to kick us out to shut things down after school. He'd be singing "the party's over... It's time to call it a day". He made me "computer operator" of the Alpha Micro system, I think during my junior year. He was a wonderful and inspiring teacher.

Thanks Mr. Rozycki!! You were one of the Best & most memorable teachers! You not only made Math fun But learning with you was easier & a blast. Although you'll be missed, you'll live on in all the hearts & minds of those who were lucky to know you even for a few short years of schooling. When the first Apple I & II & later Macintosh computers were introduced to RMHS he embraced them with infectious enthusiasm. Our thoughts & prayers are with your family.

Mr. Rozycki was a patient and kind computer teacher at a time when students were on the vanguard of using personal computers (Apple ][ really) at RMHS. He was humorous, sensitive, and concerned for his students as people.
