Prof. Rubin was a lively, inspiring teacher in a memorable Presidential Politics class. Ever inquisitive, he was devoted to his students and learned as much from us as we did from him. He and I also enjoyed talking about our other common bond as Fieldston alums. My parents are buried in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. My deepest condolences to the family. He leaves a wonderful legacy of learning and compassion.
