Dick was a good friend and excellent engineer. We worked together on many projects and several ASCE books through the years. We collaborated often and he spoke often of his family and pups. He loved the outdoors and Cortex. Dick will be missed. My sincere condolences.

I met Dick at the Cortez rec center a few years back while playing racketball. Our group played many games with Dick, enjoying every minute of it. We had many laughs with him, and enjoyed his stories. I know he was extremely proud of his family, and he will be greatly missed.
