Not sure what to say?

In the 80´s I was in high school and without vocational direction, but Mr. Rumrill helped change that for me. Inspired by his passion for people and electronics, time in his class led me to pursue an education in the field after high school which also led to a career in the field. I´m very grateful and remember him with a deep fondness.

A great and gentle teacher who I was not afraid to call my friend and mentor. He was my teacher at Prospects High. He always encouraged me to achieve higher. I remember him telling me that I had to further my artistic studies. I gave him several of my paintings because I knew he appreciated them. I did end up getting a college degree in the arts. Thank you, Rich, for encouraging me to chase my dreams.

He was on my mind tonight and I thought about him and was saddened to find he passed...

RIP, Mr. Rumrill, a class act and someone to admire. As my teacher, always had the moment to spare when needed.

So long Mr. Rumrill...you were my most influential teacher. I have though of you hundreds if not thousands of times in my life after high school. I hold you in the same esteem that I hold Mr Brooks Golden, thank you for your contribution to my life. My sincerest condolences to the Rumrill Family.

Dear Donna and Family,
I'm just so sad to hear of the passing of Richard; he always warmed my heart when I would see him at Bidwell or London. Donna, you and Richard enjoyed life sooooo fully; I remember many stories of bike rides and travel. I'm hoping these memories will hold you during this time of grief and celebrating his life. My very special thoughts are with you as you tell the stories and share the photos. Blessings to you, my friend ~ Mary
