Not sure what to say?

Father Runte was a priest who was sincerely dedicated to his faith and love of God. He will be deeply missed by our Catholic community.
God Bless Father Runte.

With our deepest sympathy,
The Callini Family Southampton, MA

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Father Runte. He will be missed.

To Father Runte's family. I was very saddened to hear the news of Father Runte's passing. He was my ninth grade theology teacher at Cathedral. He was the best teacher i ever had. He was a nice man with a great sense of humor.

Fr. Runte always had a wonderful smile and a positive attitude. The thing I most remember is his love for Catholic education. During his tenure as pastor of Immaculate Conception in Easthampton, the running joke was that he spent more time with the students at NDIC School than he did at the parish--except that it wasn't a joke. The students truly enjoyed his daily presence, and I know he enjoyed being there. Father, may you rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear of Father Runte's passing. He was a wonderful man and gave me much spiritual support when my parents' passed. To his family, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you.

Fr. Runte and Family:
You graced our home and parish life many times. You married our son and baptized our grandchildren. You are among the very best of the priesthood in terms of maintaining the simplicity of spiritual life, having concern for others time, being true to our faith and its doctrines. We shall miss your kind words, wonderful humor and positive spirit. Thank you for all you have done for us and others and we know that God is holding you in the palm of his hands!!! We shall...
