I knew Richard for many years and I enjoyed his company. He was a very nice person and will be missed greatly.

Dear Rutt Families, No words can console the impact of the loss of a loved one, but I'm so very sorry to hear of Richard's passing. As I'm the little guy with the deer, at the ~6 minute mark of the video :) you can see that he had been a part of our lives for as long as I can remember. He had a big impact on me growing up in the woods, and I always looked forward to his yearly (or more) visits. I always thought he was a big man, with a larger than life personality! I can still hear...

Jennifer, Our deepest sympathy on your Dad's passing. We share fond memories from our Fekete Family reunions. . x0x0

Jennifer and Family, Sorry to hear of your Dads passing.

I can still see, in my minds eye, the row of Dicks hunting hats on the shelf, at camp. I can still hear his laughter when I told him NO! You may not dry your hunting boots on the oven door of my kitchen stove!! Ha, ha. Dick was a huge part of the best times, and the worst times, of our lives. He was a patriot, a good shot!, a true friend, a kindred spirit. Just a few weeks ago, Al called him to invite him up for salmon fishing in the Spring. He said he would have to pass on it this...

Dick Rutt Was my good friend--we spent so many fine hours in the woods together--Dick loved the woods at Katahdin Lake Camps which we owned at the time-- Dicks friendship and his fine outdoor skills , and great times at our camps started around 1975 when we took over the camps. I have not known many hunters who got through the big woods in Maine so well , and fought off health issues while hunting enjoying life to the fullest. I will truly miss Dick very much. Al Cooper III Master Maine...

Jennifer and the Rutt families,
Remembering the family gatherings we shared at the Rutt homes in Wind Gap and Pen Argyl. They were fun filed times. We will always remember Richard as a tree hugger and his love for the outdoors. Hope all of your memories of your Dad and
Richard will bring you comfort at this time of loss.
Our sincere sympathy,
Aunt Carol and Richard
