Not sure what to say?

I am speechless at the sudden loss of a great guy. I am forever grateful for his thoughtful guidance when I worked with him at Rockwell Automation and for him at Rockwell Software. Not many human beings care as much as he does in a professional setting. Denise I am truly sorry for your loss.

Few people make an indelible impression on ones life and career - Rich was one such person for me and my family. Whether it was meeting with the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh or experiencing two of the wonders of the world together (The Taj Mahal & The Great Wall of China), Rich was a truly inspirational person to be around. So glad he made it to Bangalore with Tim a few years ago!

Heartfelt condolences Denise, Tim & Colin for your irreperable loss.

-Pradeep David

I'm very sorry for your loss.

I worked for Rich at Rockwell Software and had a ton of respect for him. But I gained even more respect after those years when I talked BMW motorcycles with him and learned how much life he lived. The adventure bikes he owned / loved were built for guys like Rich (those that see life as an adventure). Thanks for setting a great example in life Rich.

our prays are with the ryan family

Dear Denise, Timothy, Colin and Family:

My heart goes out to you as you mourn the loss of Rich.

It was a privilege to have worked with and supported Rich on many occasions during my years in public relations at Rockwell Automation. A true visionary and outstanding communicator, Rich made complex concepts both understandable and compelling for many audiences. For someone with such a brilliant mind to be approachable and easy to engage with made preparation for media events...

Dear Denise, Timothy, and Colin, May our Gracious God provide His love and peace which I cannot. Rich and I attended a Lutheran Boarding School,St. John's Academy, Winfield, KS, together. He was an excellent scholar, athlete, and great all around Christian young man. He provided an example do Christ's love which brought him many friends.. All who knew Rich loved him. His
presence brought us all love. I pray that Christ will provide that love and peace to your heart, which our world...

Rich hired me to provide executive coaching to him and his team at Rockwell Software a number of years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him as a leader and a man of integrity. While he has transitioned to live his next chapter, my thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

D--I can't find the words to convey how heartbroken Whit and I are for your loss. Rich was truly a wonderful human being. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Tim and Colin in this most difficult time. Our hope is that you will find some comfort in the love you shared with Rich, which never goes away. All of us who knew Rich are better people for having known him.

I knew Rich for 21 years as a RA partner and as a ROK / Rockwell Software team leader. There was something very special about him , we all repected and appreciated him greatly, some of our best professional time was under his lead. His passing is a tremendous loss for all his team mates, past and present. He will always be a part of us, with all the good times we had together, in many parts of the world. Stela and I will miss you. Good bye, my great boss and friend !!!
