Not sure what to say?

My deepest, heartfelt condolensces to Dick's family. Having interacted with him as professor at Williams, I feel very fortunate to have benefited from his intellect and vision; his work in development economics remains an inspiration to my current work.

I knew Dick over the years from extended Plunkett family events. My heart goes out to Judy and the children. You are all in my thoughts daily.

Marcy's sister.

I knew and liked Dick very much in graudate school, and I was delighted when I learned he was coming to teach at Williams. Unfortunately, I was just leaving, but I prevailed on him to serve on the board of directors of the organization I was going to head. He did that with distinction. He was a deep thinker and a humanitarian.

When I was a struggling Internet entrepreneur in the late 90s, Dick so graciously spent time with me and offered a great deal of support and advice on starting an e-company. I will never forget his kindness and generosity of time, and I offer my sincere condolences to his family. He will be missed by many.

I was fortunate to have Dick as a professor and a friend, and also lucky to know his family and especially his son Topher. Professor Sabot was an inspiration to me personally and professionally; I am sure he will be greatly missed by many, least not myself. With deepest sympathies, Tina

I want to extend my sympathy to Dick's wife Judith and his entire family. Dick was a great friend and help to me on the Board of Directors of my company. A man of great wisdom and charm, he was also of great solice to me on the death of my wife. I'll never forget the personal story he shared with me at that time. He will be sorely missed by those who knew and admired him.

Dick was a neighbor. He always flahsed a smile and a cheery greeting when we walked or jogged past his house. His biography filled us with pride. We will miss his smile and warm greeting.

In addition to countless individuals who were blessed to know Dick Sabot, he will be greatly missed as the beloved Uncle of Tanya Medve and Laurie Strunsky. Words cannot express our sadness.

We offer our deepest sympathy.
