Richard C. Sandoval On May 13, Ricardo Cresencio Sandoval moved on to a never-ending party under the New Mexico sun with tequila, classic cars, ravens, his dad and brother, and assorted departed cats and dogs. He was a son, brother, father, an artist and a great example of how to live a full...

Not sure what to say?

God bless and keep you and prayers to your family.
I have a 22 x 35 pen drawing of a hypo done by Richard C Sandoval in 1972. It was a gift to my then husband Peter B Barker. Richard was married at that time to Winky, Emiiana's mother. I am about to have this wonderful drawing framed and started doing research on where Richard was. I was saddened to read of his death in 2012 but am trying to find Emiliana's information so that I might send a photo of this wonderful Hypo done by her...

My best wishes to Richard's family, especially his two daughters and mother. I was behind him by 3 or 4 yrs in Pojoaque and remember him as a basketball star there. We played tennis together a few times later after we both had taken up tennis...Handsome,talented and a great guy,we won't forget him.

Too soon, too soon! We talked last week and planned to get together this week -- but not this way.
Richard and I have known each other for about 40 years, first as co-workers and always as friends. He was like one of my sons. He was enormously talented, of course -- his paintings have hung on our walls for years. But more than that, he was a diligent and cooperative worker, a proud, loving father, a devoted son and brother, a joyful grandfather, a loyal friend, and above all, a good...

My heart-felt condolences to Emiliana and Maria, especially, and to Richard's family as a whole. Richard and I became friends in school at age 6, were best friends through our years together at church and school, and remained friends ever since; my sense of loss is profound. Although our professions took us down different paths, the qualities I value and most esteem today reflect qualities Richard played a large role in shaping. Richard's life embodied all that anyone can aspire to. Bye...

Rchard, it is so sad to read of your passing. May the Good Lord hold you close to his heart. I remember the days when we worked on Washington St, you for the New Mexico Magazine and me for the Department of Banking as these state offices were called at that time. Your art work is beyond comparison. I remember we used to have a lot of fun just being ourselves along with the guys in your mailing department. My deepest sympathies to your family and friends. May you rest in peace.

Richard,i want to thank you for been such a good friend. You will never be forgoten.Rest in peace my friend.... Dimitry and Nadine Spiridon

Goodbye Coach, all your friends at the Sangre de Cristo Racquet Club will miss you greatly.

He was such an inspiring person and will continue to inspire all of those who met him. Love and condolences to Emiliana, Maria and family.

What a tremendous loss to family and friends and the art community. Richard worked for my father who was an owner of Starline Printing... He was loved and respected as a graphic artist as well as a fine artist. He taught me many of the tricks I use to this day for watercolor painting. Prayers for the family and I can't wait to see Richard's paintings where he is now.
