It was with very great sadness that I learned of Dick's passing today. Dick and I worked several projects over the years, as far back as the mid 70's. He was a trusted friend, and a pleasure to be around. I spoke with him a few months ago, and we planned on getting together. I am doubly sad that I am out of town, and will not be able to attend tomorrow to bid him farewell. It is seldom that one can share a friendship such as we had, and I will miss him dearly.
