Not sure what to say?

Dick and I worked together @ Adamation in Newton, MA! Great guy! Also my wife Mardi and I enjoyed boating activities with him! Great memories of Dick! We'll miss him immeasurably! RIP!

My heart goes out to you for your loss. May God comfort your hearts and give you the peace and strength to endure this difficult time.-Jeremiah 29:11, 12

To the Scheffler family. It is with heavy heart that I heard of Dick's passing. I was one of the many athletes that Dick gave the bison's stuffed animal. (upon graduation). I still proudly display that bison in my office. Dick was one of the kindest most gentle giants. He had a love and passion for sports and for the Nichols story. He is a one in the world man. I know your family is grieving and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. However, I want you to know how many...

Dick,

I hope you find Coach Mike and a new bench to keep watching the Bison. My deepest sympathy to the family, and hoping the celebration of his life is comforting.

My deepest sympathy to Dick's family. He was a great friend and will be missed greatly. It was an honor knowing him and working with him.

So sorry to hear. Dick was "Mr Nichols Athletics Fan" to many of us ole Bison! Always greeting us with a big smile, and some great conversation! He was a caring, loyal, devoted man. Thoughts and prayers to Dick's family.

Dick was the first person to welcome us to the neighborhood when we moved to Holliston and we could not have asked for a better neighbor. Our dog still tries to sneak across the street to find Dick and get his treat. We were very saddened to hear of his passing. May his family and friends find comfort in the love and support of others and the countless memories of a wonderful person.

Rest In Peace good friend from all past athletes for your support as our #1 fan Rene Langevin # 62
