Not sure what to say?

I worked with Dick at Bruce Offset for about 10 years and he was a great person to work with. I enjoyed his sense of humor and he always treated people with respect. He will be missed.I fell very luck to have known him.

Our deepest condolences and prayers are with the Scherer family. The Shutter Family.

My sincere condolences go out to the Scherer family. I worked with Dick for 28 years at Bruce Offset Co. A real gentleman and true professional salesman. Always treated the people in the pressroom with respect. Mr. Notre Dame and a pretty good tennis player too. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to the Scherer family. I worked with Dick on one of the RR Donnelley Annual Reports and even met Loretta on a very late night press check! He was an exceptional sales representative for the company, first class and the ultimate gentleman who loved his family deeply. May the memories you had together as a family comfort you during this time.

With blessings,
Dana Fredrickson

My condolences to the Scherer family, I worked with Dick at Bruce Offset since 1974 and I can't think of any nicer or better salesman that Bruce had. he was 1st class all the way and treated the pressmen with respect and always "Good job guys" That's why everyone loved the man. Rest in peace my friend.

Loving thoughts & prayers to the Scherer Family -
We will always remember "Mr. Scherer" as a generous, loyal, and family centered man who lead by his selfless actions. It was an honor to know him and witness the way he lived and treated others.

Scherer Family -

My condolences to all. I met Dick when he called on Ryerson at least 30 years ago and he went from an A+ rep for Bruce Offset to ALSO becoming a wonderful friend whom I adored. Rest in peace, dear friend.
