I remember him very well my family and I were the ones who had built up the orinoco Jacille area My parents names were Jim and Lucille Henson. My name is Kim Myland Henson He was always so proud to be the firefighter there I remember taking our Halloween candy to be scanned. I don't think I ever saw him with a frown on his face there was always a smile

I have fond memories of visiting Chief Schippers at the Comstock fire station, but the deer hunting adventures were even better.

I meet Dick In 1966 when I was a young man on a neighboring fire department. He was always happy to assist our department and was always glad to get help from our department. As time went by I was fortunate enough to become friends with him his wife and Dick junior. They were always fun to be around. Dick had lots of knowledge on firefighting but never pushed his way of doing things on you or anyone else. He will be missed by all the people who new him !!
    Rest In Peace my friend
