I just learned of Dick's passing today. While I was saddened by the news, I am thankful for the patient and generous mentoring I received from Dick throughout my years at Dechert. As I said in my retirement speech, Dick showed me what it meant to be a good citizen -- as he was to his family, his colleagues, and his community. His influence on those of us who knew him will live on in our hearts and minds.
