My first teaching job was teaching Art at Jones Junior and I was fortunate to have my room right next to Dick...He helped me so much with all the issues of being a new teacher. he was an excellent teacher and truly loved teaching and the kids and I was lucky to have him for a mentor..May he rest in Peace...Kathy Genzman

Thanks to Mr. Schroeder I learned show tunes and fight songs that I still sing today during football season, my children look at me and wonder how I know the words. Was also very blessed to have him sing at my wedding I cherish that memory of him.May his gentle and kind spirit and the light of his life live with you always. Rest in peace Mr. Schroeder.

I was one of his students, between 1966 and 1968.
Besides being a talented teacher, he had a wonderful singing voice and could really play the piano!

Dear Kathryn Dopfer May God welcome Dick into heaven, and bless those left behind. Monk and I played Basketball and Softball we were best of friends right to the end of his time on earth, I am very thankful I was able to visit him October 7t of this year. We were friends for 60years.RIP

Rest In Piece Mr Schroeder. You were a great teacher.
