After working with both Anne and Rich ,we became fast friends. When calling to talk with Anne, Rich would often answer. His joyous voice would say "You have reached the answering machine of Anne, please leave a message at the beep." Then we would bust out in laughter and chat awhile about the ball game or whatever. Rich's joyous voice would never fail to cheer me up even more. I will miss that fun and delightful voice and those chats.
