Alison Jillian John and Kyle I´m sorry for your loss lam a Friend of John schrupp´s Rest In Peace MR Richard Dick Schrupp IRENESONG BEAVERTON OREGON

he was my very best friend in high school and college until he joined the air force. I had to join the navy in 1971 and became a fighter piloti in viet nam and flew off carriers . I MISS DICK VERY MUCH may he rest in heaven. Ed Rakowski

I recently found this photo of my childhood buddy, Dick Schrupp. We were next door neighbors on Redding Rd. in San Diego for about 10 years. We all moved into our new tract homes in 1957. We had so much fun together exploring the canyons, riding bikes, swimming (his pool!) playing ball in the street and sharing meals at each others homes. The photo of the 4 boys was taken at my house before we were going somewhere fancy (a school dance?). My mom Rose wanted to pose with us. So sorry...

I just read about Dickie's passing on John Fry's Crawford High Website. Both of us graduated in 1964. The Colt Corral link is where I found the complete obit. The last time I saw Dick was when the High Society Jazz Band played at the Sacramento Dixieland Jazz Fest probably around 1992. We were friends on FB and enjoyed commenting on posts and keeping up with family activities. He was a good friend when we were growing up...we both lived on Redding RD in San Diego and had a lot of fun...

I was sad to hear of Dick's passing. As fellow SDSU "kids" we grew up together in gatherings and school. I even attended a high school dance as his date. What a special guy. My love to the family and prayers for God's peace during this time. Kris Gjerde Flynn (and Ron).

Dear Alison and Family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. May the memories and stories help heal the burt and continue to comfort you in times of need. May God bless you and give comfort. Renee Keltner

What an amazing spirit. May you find peace today for the years you shared together and the many gifts and legacies he left you and this world. Prayers and peace to you and your family.

Dear John and Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember your father when I was part of the Transition Staff at PCC and you were in our class. He was a wonderful man and such a caring and dedicated father. I know he will be missed by so many.

Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16 We will not only think of you today, but in the coming days and months as you adjust to a new journey.
