Not sure what to say?

I was fortunate to spend some time with "Uncle Dick" as we trudged the Road of Happy Destiny together during the last 14 years. As a relative and my friend I will truly miss him.

Dick was a good friend from AA. His story always touched a place in my heart. He often expressed his great love for his wife, children and grandchildren. Thanks for sharing him with us at AA. I just got my 8th year chip. I will miss him too.

The wry smile, the knowing look over coffee at Lambs, the tough talk, the caring interior, all were Dick. Never afraid to help, always concerned about his family, and always, always thoughtful about advice. He made the world a better place.

Dick was always my favorite cousin, soft-spoken, kind and honorable.

I have many fond memories through the years spent with Dick and Kay and our families. Dick was, indeed, a good man - and always a good friend.

Good man, good heart, wry sense of humor. It was a true pleasure to know him.
Dick shared with me his definition of success, "good friends and a loving family", so I can also add, 'a success', to my opening words.
May God grand comfort to all who feel the loss.

Steve

I didn't know Dick well, except for what my father (Stan) has shared with me. I am told he was a wonderful man and will surely be missed.

I've only known Dick for the past 10 years or so, but I will remember him for his wit and his willingness to put out his hand to help another. He had a generous heart. My condolences to Catherine and his children. His loss will be felt by many.
