Richard J. Schultz, 88, formerly of Mount Prospect & Crystal Lake, died Monday, September 28, 2015.
Richard served his country during World War II. He retired from Commonwealth Edison after a long career. He was active in his community with youth including participation in Boy Scouts of America & school activities like PTA. He was also active in his church.
He will be missed by his children, Diane (Steven) Wellhausen, Richard (Gina) Schultz, Karen (Don) Kick, Philip (Kimberly) Schultz and Gayle Schultz; as well as his 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose Mary Schultz.
A memorial open house to celebrate his life will be held Sunday, November 1, at the home of his grandson, Daniel Kick, from 2-5 p.m.
Interment will be private.
