I was incredibly saddened to learn of Rich's passing. To say he was a wonderful man simply isn't enough. He was so much more! We worked together for many years at Timber Products (albeit at separate ends of the state), and he was always a favorite of mine. Rich had a unique knack for making everyone feel special and appreciated. The room always seemed to light up when he walked in. I will forever remember him with great fondness. My heartfelt sympathies go out to all of Rich's family. ...

Kelli, I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Rich was so beloved by so many, his legacy and memory will go on for generations. Many of my Mariat friends and I grieve for your family. But my connection to you goes deeper. Three years with you at Roosevelt, your counsel, your fun, and your guidance in my path to get to Marist have had active and positive effects on me my entire life. Your incredible influence lasts a lifetime. There has never been a doubt in my mind that you were a direct...

Heartbreaking news. I student taught and coached with Rich at Churchill H.S. I so admired Kelli and Rich. I slept over a few Friday nights after the game and the party at Rich's house. I can still picture him holding little Jami sleeping in his arms as we ended those nights. Rich influenced my life tremendously and I grieve his passing.

Holly and family- I am so sorry to hear about your father's passing. We just lost my dad and I know some of the emotions you must be feeling. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Rich will be truly missed by all who knew him. A very special person to have known for so many years. Kelli, know you and the family are in our thoughts.

I'm so grateful for being blessed to have played on Coach Schwab's first 3 teams at Churchill High (1968-1970). He was gregarious, inspiring, and always encouraging, even when circumstances seemed insurmountable. We always wanted to earn an "atta boy" from him! He was a positive and significant influence on me and my teammates. My sincere condolences go to the family.
