Richard E. Scott

Richard was born on May 5, 1941 and passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017. Richard was a resident of Illinois at the time of passing. Mr. Scott graduated from Paris High School in 1959. After graduation from the University of Illinois Law School in 1966 and successfully completing the bar exam, Mr. Scott entered the United States Air Force through the Officer Training School and served until October of 1970. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 in the gathering space at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paris, Illinois with Rev. Fr. Ronald Hilt as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family suggests that, for those who wish, contributions may be made to Lincoln Land Hospice or St. Mary's Catholic Church.
