Dick and I attended St. John's Prep together but were not on the golf team there. However, at Boston College we both ended up on its golf team 1962-65 and enjoyed the experience tremendously. Thanks to him and his family for those rounds at Plymouth CC and the wonderful meals prepared by his mother. Save us a tee-time up there, Dick, and we'll be along soon.

Richie was a long life friend to me and together with his brother, Robert we were inseparable through childhood and adolescence. He was very thoughtful and caring as evidenced on my last birthday he phoned me with heartfelt wishes. He was born with an uncanny ability to make friends and displayed a charm and charisma few achieve.

I had opportunities over the years to witness first-hand Richard's commitment, caring, devotion, attention, and advocacy for family. We will miss Richard's caring ways, his incredible kindness and how much he cared for and loved our dear friend Claudette. His zest for life and all his wonderful advice on where to get the best lobster among many things.
