Dick will always be remembered as the smiling, caring man in the pew behind us at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbury Heights. Even when he wasn't feeling well he would say he was happy he could come to church. He was such a kind man and will be greatly missed. But we know he is now reunited with his Millie. Sending hugs and prayers to his family during this difficult time.

What wonderfully fond and boundless memories We will cherish of you. The endless stories of your childhood tales with Uncle Warren and Bobby, my mother, brought smiles to all. Your devotion to Bobby and Warren will forever be the gold standard of what it means to be Family. The grace and warm heart that you shared with our family will always be held close to our hearts. God bless you and your family as you continue your journey. love, James, Amy and Family.

I will forever cherish the many fond memories I have of your Dad over the years. Truly, he was my favorite uncle. I will always remember his unwavering devotion to his family, his warmth, love and kindness, and his great sense of humor...always quick to tease!
Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Uncle Dick, Rest In Peace...you will be deeply missed...I love you,
Sarah

My Dear Cousins,

We will always cherish those memories at Soupy, with all of us together for holidays and summer fun. Rest in peace, Uncle Dick. Love, Cindy

Once you met Dick (and Millie) Shaw you became their friend. They can be described simply as "good people". They were the cutest couple and an inspiration to all of us with their love for each other and their family. Dick, I will miss your smile, kindness and the genuine care you had for me and my family...but I know how happy you are right now in the arms of your beloved. That makes my heart smile :)

What fond memories I have with you dad. Teaching me how to ride a bike, helping me with my math homework, always a willing participant with having a catch and best of all just being there for me. I will always remember how you got a kick out of people mistaking me as your wife and running home to once again sharing it with mom. I hope it was that you looked that young and not the other way around. I love you so much dad and I know that one day we will all be together once again.
