Not sure what to say?

Dick, his first cousin, Bob Garek, and I were called " the Three Musketeers" in high school, since we were best friends and were frequently together. We traveled to the National NFTY youth convention in San Francisco, where our appetite for Jewish communal service was incubated. Even after his accident, we shared our mutual love of photography. I considered Dick my lifelong friend and will miss him. My condolences to his mother and children.

I rented commercial property from richard for over 15 years... he helped guide and advise me in our companys' early years... his word was his bond.... most all the deals we ever made, were made from a handshake... don mueller [ pres/ceo massmarketing inc]

I worked at Cincinnati Microwave in the Tri-County Forest Park area in the late 1970s. He was the owner of the office complex at CM. I remember seeing him running up and down Northland Blvd. One time he had extra tickets to see the Rolling Stones in Louisville, Ky. and one of the former owners of CM gave them to me. I went with my then former boyfriend, now my husband, and sat next to Mr. Shenk, as I called him, and had a good time. My prayers to go out to him and his family. I will...

I have many fond memories of Dick, his brothers and parents. Our families spent much time together in my younger years. I still have my parents home movies of the many Ohio State vs Michigan games they attended for so many years. Art Solomon and Sol Shenk wer always full of surprises and 'mischief'. My sympathies to the entire family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I admired Richard for his never ending love of life and his spirit to live it to the fullest. I have great memories of him for the past 9 years that we have been friends. I do count him as one of the special people on earth that I connected with, and know that I will see him in the afterlife existence. I will miss him, but not for long.
