I was Shep's technician on the Milkmans Matinee for years. He was a pleasure to work with and often refered to me as the Adonis ( far far far from the reality) of the WNEW engineering staff. I have many fond memories of "Schlep" as I called him.

Shep pioneered the standards format on afternoon drive in 1980s when every other FM station went with rock. His knowledge of each artist gained from WNEW-AM poured out each day making his program unique and enjoyable. He was the best....

I had the pleasure of working with Dick on hundreds of voice overs for theater, resort, and circus commercials in the 1970's. A consummate professional and terrific racconteur. He will be missed by many. Condolences to the family he always spoke of so proudly.
