Not sure what to say?

My love and prayers are surrounding youall! I got to know Dick during the time when step-daughter, Lori married my brother-in-law Mark Werbner in Colorado in 2017(?).

RAS! The best boss of my Orthopedic career! His & Sandy´s friendship spanned over 50 years! Thoughts & prayers to the whole family!

His dry humor and sly smile will be missed. He was a gentle soul, a true professional and a pleasure to work with.

Sending condolences to the family. I loved working with Dr. Shirley in our years at Intracorp/GENEX. He was a funny man. I read in his obituary that he had an eloquent use of words. That is so true. I loved reading his reports and just enjoyed talking to him. Praying for peace and comfort for the family.

Dick was my teacher when I was an orthopaedic resident at Baylor Hospital in 1972. We all loved him and his terrific sense of humor. I will miss him. Susie and I have made a donation to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital Legacy Scholarship fund in Dick's honor. Sincerest condolences to all the family.

I worked with Dr. Shirley at Intracorp/Cigna and Genex. I remember him always having a smile on his face and his quick wit. I wish him god speed to his next journey. Vicki Sleyo

My thoughts are with Sandy and Family during this time of loss. Doc Shirley was a Great Soul and will be greatly missed by all that loved and knew him. Just writing his name makes me smile as do all the moments I got to share with him.
