Thanks for Being a Wonderful CoWorker and Tennis Partner at Interval Research. Always enjoyed your Video Contributions at our Meetings. Blessings, Richard, to Your Family. Warmly, Robert Garcia.

So many amazing technical contributions to computer graphics and other fields. His pioneering work attracted me to CG and I was beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to be at Interval with him. A wonderful person who will be fondly remembered by all. Rest in Peace.

I spent a fair amount of time with Dick at Interval. I can still hear his voice and cadence in my head, bringing to life the practical power that comes from elegance in technology, and sprinkling every interaction with an avuncular good humor. He set a tone that helped make Interval a worthwhile place to be.

Prayers are with your family. God bless!

Nancy,

My sincere condolences to you and your family at this time. May you all be comforted.

One evening after the daily grind we ventured out to find Carl Fontana, at whatever club he might be - we knew he wasn't playing in a show band then. We joked that this was our research project for the day. We...
