Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Si's passing. I knew him when he attended the Lost & Found Record Review. I always enjoyed his company. Keep the good times you shared front and center, during this difficult time.

Dear Mary and Michelle,
You have lost your dear husband and father, an irreplaceable and dynamic presence who loved you both unconditionally. I hope you can feel the love of many of us surrounding you in the days ahead.
Take good care of yourselves and each other. The memories of times together nurture me today.
Love, Jane

I’m so saddened to hear of his passing. He was such a strong influence and listener. My heart goes out to Mary and Michelle♥

Mary, I am so sorry to hear of Si's passing. It was always a pleasure to see Si with that warm greeting and big smile to talk about baseball. I knew he was very knowledgeable, especially since we were both Oriole fans. RIP Si

Mary, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of "Si". He was a good friend, even though it's been a few years since I last seen "Si" I know we could of talked just like we seen each other yesterday. We played softball together with Yankee A.A. and traded baseball cards and beer cans on numerous occasions.I spent many nights on APBA baseball night with him and the guys down in the basement. A lot of good memories. He will be sorely missed. God bless you,you will definitely be in my prayers. Kent...

So sorry for your loss, so many memories of Mr. Silar hanging with my Dad (Steve Cherry). Continued prayers for your family.

I met Si when my dad talked me into umpiring ASA in 1989. He became a friend and mentor. Always quick with a smile, a kind word and fun when we were on the field together. He was one of a kind. Prayers to all and I know he is in Heaven umpiring a great game!

Si was a good mentor to me as a softball umpire. He is probably calling balls, strikes, fairs, fouls, and safes, outs in heaven.

As a basketball referee & baseball umpire, Dick always made you feel welcome at York Vo-Tech. From my viewpoint, Dick was a model athletic director. Hw's the one person I always related Vo-Tech to. My condolences to his family & friends!
