Not sure what to say?

Hours fly,
Flowers bloom and flowers die,
Sunlight flees,
Waves roll back to the seas,
Children grow,
Rivers cross and change their flow,
Shadows fall with the day,
But through the loss,
love will stay

IT HAS TAKEN ME AWHILE TO WRITE ANYTHING BECAUSE I AM STILL IN A STATE OF SHOCK. IT FEELS LIKE A DREAM. GRAMPA PASSING HAS HIT ME HARD GRAMPA AND I DIDN'T ALWAYS SEE EYE TO EYE BUT HE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME. WE SPENT A LOT OF TIME WITH GRAMPA AND I WILL CHERISH ALL OF OUR WONDERFUL MEMORIES TOGETHER. IT WAS SUCH A WONDERFUL MAN AND I AM SO GLADE THAT HE GOT TO SPEND SO MUCH TIME WITH EMMA (MY DAUGHTER) SHE LOVED SITTING ON HIS LAP IN HIS RECLINER. SHE WOULD ALWAYS TRY TO PULL HIS GLASSES...

Grampa was always there for everyone in the family, whether it was at a bsketball game, a football game, a recital, a play, or just being at your house. One of Grampa's passions was to make breakfast. He would always make what you wanted anytime in the morning. If he was on a diet that ment he was going to try and make you eat instead of him. Another one of Grampa's passions was his gandchildren and his geat-grandchildren. If he was holding one of the baby's you would be hard pressed to get...

Dear Ed and Family,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I read your daughter's entry and it sounds like your father was a wonderful man and you will all miss him greatly. My prayers are with you and your family.

Greatness is not what we have but what we give.
Richard was a great person.

Uncle Dick: Even though your body is no longer with us, I know your spirit is still alive. I can still see your smile. I have some wonderful childhood memories with you and your family. I will never, ever forget you. Wish I could be there! Love you forever!! Bethy

This previous Saturday, I was at the camp with Grampa. It was 6:00 and he was the only one awake. I woke up early (a while after him) and I went to the porch and sat with him. He looked up from his book and smiled at me. Then, he looked out over the lake and said to me "I love it up here this time of day. It's so peaceful. It makes you glad you're alive." I always knew the lake was a beautiful place, but it's a rare person who wakes up every morning, sits down, watches the sunrise, and...

My heart is broken. I often find myself thinking of Uncle Dick, as our tower of strength, a wonderful father, a devoted husband , and a great uncle. He was a respected teacher, role model, and coach on the field as well as in life. He will be sorely missed by everyone. I will always carry my memories of him with me through life.
