Richard Allen Slack

Linda and family, So sorry to hear of your loss. Although it's been almost 50 years since we cavorted in Galveston Bay and along rivers in the Texas Hill Country, our times together remain a cherished memory. Rich was bigger-than-life, an unforgettable character and friend. We grieve his passing with you.

We met Richard and Linda on a church trip to Israel, and have been friends ever since. Richard tirelessly volunteered for our neighborhood, always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed it. He will be missed. Condolences to Linda and his family.

Richard and I were in the same class at Stanford. He had a keen intellect, but more importantly He was a man who cared deeply for others, always ready to help a friend or to be a friend.

He was a great man and I will miss working for him and he will be missed. God bless the slack family. Joe c

Oh, I´m so very sorry to read this. I always looked forward to seeing "Kojak." He will be missed. I hope Mr. Slack´s entire family will accept my heartfelt condolences and know his kindness will be remembered.
