Not sure what to say?

I worked closely with Richard at GM Service Parts in Swartz Creek for about 10 years. The first few years, I was his Supervisor. We both were placed on special assignment in the late 1990's, where we worked as a team on the Planned Maintenance Project. Richard was a great person to work with. He had a great sense of humor and rarely if ever, lost his temper. I counted him as a friend. He spoke often and lovingly of his wife and sons. He loved to read and I did too so we always had something...

Dear Mary and Sons,
Sharing your loss in my thoughts and prayers.
In "HIS" Amazing Love,
Betty J. Teachout & family

Dick was really quite a character to work with on security at GM. He sure was a story teller too. You would always see him with a paperback book on third shift. He inspired me to go after the veterans benefits I had coming to me, which he had worked for himself. Because of him, after I got my disability, I was able to pass it on to another co-worker. He did the same for a couple more of our guys. Thanks Dick, your work is still alive in our lives.

Rest Easy Sir.

Words cannot express the pain I know you are feeling and I am so sorry for your loss. Mary and Richard have always been more like Mom and Dad to me. Mark,Matt and Eric you three have always been my brothers. You all are my family and I wish I could take the pain and sadness of your loss away. Dad you will be deeply missed by me Rest Easy Sir and Thank You for your Service . My prayers for you all.

So sorry for your loss Slade family. Many laughs and good times as security officers with Dick or "Slickie" as I called him. Rest in peace Slick!! Archie Stroub.
